Battle of Nui Le

The Battle of Nui Le was the last major battle fought by the Australian Army in South Vietnam, on 21 September 1971 in Phuoc Tuy Province. The battle was fought between 'B' and 'D' Companies of the 4 RAR/NZ (ANZAC) Battalion (4RAR/NZ) and elements of the 33rd Regiment of the North Vietnamese Army during Operation Ivanhoe.
